Our Role:
Working closely with the creatives from 20:20 from the initial visuals. We undertook formulating a a full breakdown of the undertaking of the job. From pre-visualisations, mood boards and all elements of the pre-production to finalisation of the project under taken by The Operators working in tandem with the creatives of 20:20.

Production / Solution:
From the offset we formulated a full production pipe line. This was split up into a easy to use breakdown through our bespoke on-line scheduling system, accessible at a drop of a hat to all members involved with the project. The project was then presented in manageable chunks, which was then managed to a specific time frame.
Making sure that there was a symmetry with aesthetics between the 30sec spot and the print campaign. The footage was dissected and scrutinised making sure there was a seamless blend between both mediums. Taking key frames from the footage of the 10 key independent mechanical machines, these were used as reference to re-build the structures within cgi. From the detailed modelling, shading and rendering to create identical structures to the tv commercial. As the cgi was prepared, background elements were carefully sourced to create a epic panoramic high resolution backplate which involved the integration of different land masses and terranes.
The constructed background was undertaken with such fine detail this allowed for individual crops to be taken from the generated backplate to suite different formats and crop. Once the shape and direction of the cgi was ascertained from visualisations assessed by the agency and approved by the client. The Operators then undertook the epic job of integrating each cgi element into the background, with subtle shadow work and surrounding integration of stones and foliage into the background, all pieces were congealed together to form a seamless blend of mechanical and natural. Finalised with subtility of colour and stylistic grad work.
Overall our full in-house production team was able to turn over a large scale project under time constrains, turning over a 1500 man hours within a 3 week period to complete the entire campaign on time and within budget.

Result:
The full in house production was a great success with the agency, allowing us to deliver above and beyond with the combination of cgi, photography and retouching. Giving the client a delightful print high-end campaign that worked seamlessly in conjunction with their TV commercial.
